Birthdays
You may well be aware that we have banned all Maida-based sweets on campus. For birthdays kids may donate a book to the library instead. However, taking into consideration the fact that many of the kids wish to share sweets with their classmates we could permit you to send sweets devoid of maida, colour and sugar. Payasams made with jaggery can be sent for the whole class if needed. Chips or any homemade savouries can be brought (This is not compulsory). Students are not permitted to distribute return gifts in school.
Candies with Wrappers are banned on campus.
(Consumption of sugar and maida need to be minimised, sugar makes kids hyperactive and especially for kids with poor attention span it tends to aggravate the condition further.)
